Authority of a Believer

Dr RJ Sing

“He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
Luke 10:18

You have to understand who you are in Christ. Grow and establish yourself in faith, God is a faith God. As you grow spiritually you have to develop your own faith and not depend on other people’s faith all the time. Once you get a revelation of your redemption your faith will grow.

God has developed us and is taking us further. All our sins have been forgiven. You are a powerful individual, all authority has been given to you the day you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Your Father in heaven sees you as a mighty man and woman of God. You are holy because God sees you as holy, you’re a friend of God. So it is with our authority as believers. We need to understand that the infinitely powerful government of heaven backs us up. Jesus Himself is the one who has given us authority in His Name. Sometimes -- in fact, most of the time -- there is going to be a stiff fight. Hell doesn't want to let go of its victims all that easily. We need to pursue, press in, and insist on being obeyed.
