Keep Watch at the Door of Your Lips

Dr RJ Sing

“Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.”
(Psalm 141:3)(AMP)

To understand fully the Power of our words, we must look at the following scripture, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9. The word saved here means healed. It is your mouth that makes the confession. It is the confession of Faith that you have in your heart or in your Spirit.

You have to come to believe or to know that God’s Word is true. That it is accurate and absolute. God watches over His Word to perform it. No word from God is void of ability. The Word of God saves you. The Word of God heals you. The Word of God supplies you with financial blessings. Psalm 107:20 states: “He sent His Word and Healed us.” Jesus is that Word. His Words were Himself. The Word of God is my Word and His Word. The moment you say it, that blessing becomes yours.

Your words are your confession. They can affirm or deny the Word of God. You must maintain your confession. This is the secret of success and victory in the Divine life. Make every effort not to waver in your confession. This is your Victory! Use your mouth to advance your life and change your circumstances. Your Words create an atmosphere that break you or make you. Choose your words wisely.
