Jesus Was Raised for Your Justification

Dr RJ Sing

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
2 Corinthians 5:21 - NKJV

What does Righteousness mean? It means the ability to stand in the Presence of Father God, without the sense of fear, without the sense of inferiority and without the sense of guilt. You are brought in right standing with God. Jesus was not just a sin offering, Jesus was more than a sin offering.

Jesus was made sin so that you may be free. You don’t have to labour under the burden of sin. You don’t have to labour under the burden of being inferior. You don’t have to labour and be under the burden of anything the devil brings to you. You are free now. You have a new nature now.

“Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” Romans 4:25. “He was justified in the spirit...” 1 Timothy 3:16. Jesus was justified in the Spirit and now that you accept Him and He dwells inside of you, you have a new nature. Now you are justified in the Spirit. Hallelujah! The principle for justification valid for Abraham is valid for all believers and that includes you.

When we speak of justification, it was God’s doing and not man’s. You have been justified by faith. God and the believer are no longer at enmity, but friends, having been reconciled. The Lord Jesus Christ was raised for your justification and righteousness.
