Anointed Preaching

Dr RJ Sing

“For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.”
1 Thessalonians 1:5 - NKJV

This is where the preacher does not depend on the wisdom of man. No, the Gospel is preached with power at the leading of the Holy Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 1:6, “So you became our followers and the Lord's; for you received our message with joy from the Holy Spirit in spite of the trials and sorrows it brought you.” 1 Peter 1:12 (KJV), “Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.”

This kind of preaching and teaching results in what Peter experienced at the house of Cornelius. “The Holy Ghost fell on all of them that heard the Word.” The Gospel is the good news. This Gospel must be preached with power and demonstration of signs and wonders.

So as you share God’s Word to others, do so under the influence and anointing of the Holy Ghost. As you do this, you will begin to see results. It does not matter whether you are speaking to one person, or to many. Yield and depend on the Holy Ghost. He will anoint you to share the Gospel with power and divine ability.
