You Are Predestined to Prosper

Dr RJ Sing

“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11

To each of us He calls (come) we need to heed the call to enjoy good success and His protection daily to fulfill our purpose. How do we do this? By Faith. We are the seed of Abraham and heirs to the promise so let’s start with Abraham. (See Genesis 12:1-8)While in Haran, the Lord had said to Abraham, Go (for his own advantage) from his country and relatives and his father’s house to a land that He will show him. The Lord said, Abraham I will Bless you, make you a great nation, Bless you with abundant increase of favors also make your name famous and distinguished and you will be a Blessing, dispensing good to others.

Abraham departed as directed by God and Lot his nephew went with him. Abraham was 75 years old, he also took his wife and he built an Altar to the Lord. He was a man who sought God in all he did, he was passionate about Him and he believed in the promises of God above all else. The quality of Abraham’s decisions resulted in some painful experiences. He was instructed to go away from his family, he took Lot and obviously Lot came with his wife and family (not part of the instruction).

He had to go away from all that was familiar to him. We never flourish in a familiar environment. Troubles and challenges may face us but with God working for us and on the inside of us nothing will be impossible and we will trouble our trouble.
