Financial Breakthrough

To all the Precious People, whom God loves so dearly, I take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New year. On behalf of my family, staff and leadership of Rhema Family Church Durban.
I am so glad to have the opportunity to write to you. I want to first of all take this opportunity to thank you and your family for being so diligent and prompt in your giving unto the Lord’s work. You have sown your tithes and offerings, pledges, building funds, priestly offerings etc. and now that you have seed on the ground, it has no alternate but to break forth and yield a total blessing in your life. This Blessing comes in many forms but more than that it can come into your hands in a different way you have anticipated it.
Thank you for being obedient to the Lord firstly and secondly, being committed whole heartedly to the local vision of our church, Rhema Family Church, Durban. This is your spiritual home and as you sow, demand your break through, and the things the devil is trying to keep away from you. You certainly have our agreement in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
This month I would like to speak to you on the subject of: Financial Breakthrough
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Psalm 35: 27 “But give great joy to all who wish me well. Let them shout with delight, "Great is the Lord who enjoys helping His child!" Deuteronomy 8:18 “Always remember that it is the Lord your God who gives you power to become rich, and He does it to fulfill His promise to your ancestors.”
A. Introduction
- The world has a world view (carnal) viewpoint of Prosperity.
- We however, must have a Word view of Prosperity.
- True prosperity is living in the full understanding and manifestation of the Blessing God spoke at creation.
- God spoke at creation when He breathed life, purpose, destiny and abundance of supply into Adam.
- God said: Genesis 1:28 “And God blessed them and told them, "Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it; you are masters of the fish and birds and all the animals.”
- Tradition: Money is the root of evil. This is not true.
To Prosper: 1 Timothy 6:10 NLT “For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.”
- Is to Excel, to go to the highest place in anything desired.
- True Prosperity is allowing God’s ability and power to flow through you, to meet the needs of mankind.
7. God wants to bring you to a place of Prosperity.
8. This is where ‘The Blessing’ on you and in you creates a Garden of Eden wherever you go.
B. True Prosperity is the Ability to use God’s Power to meet the needs of Mankind in any Realm of Life
- Money is not the only degree of prosperity.
- Money is the lowest form of Power that exists on the earth.
- Do you know what is the highest? Answer: ‘The Power of Prayer’
- You can pray in the Name of Jesus, and God will use His ability to handle your situations.
- It takes the Power of God to make you completely whole.
- When you make it your need to get Salvation into the hands of people, and make it your purpose to feed the Gospel to the unsaved, God will support what you do.
- This is true Prosperity.
“And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the Day of Judgment, but we can face Him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.”
8. When you go to the Lord, He has more than enough to meet your need.
9. God has an answer to Every Problem.
C. Realize that God wants you to be Prosperous
- Financial Prosperity isn’t simply a luxury. It’s a Responsibility.
- Prosperity is a serious matter.
- What do we need to get the Gospel out to every creature? Money.
- According to God’s Word, Prosperity is a choice.
- It’s a Personal decision and a Spiritual process.
- When you live from one financial disaster to another and you almost feel like you are under a curse, it is pushing you to make a decision.
- The curse is described in Deuteronomy 28:15-68.
- But, God gave to us the blessing through Jesus Christ. (Deuteronomy 28:1-13)
- This is the blessing Jesus bought for us on the cross.
But in order to partake of this Blessing, you have to hear God’s Word.
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
Once faith comes, you can speak to that mountain of Financial trouble, command it to be removed, and it will obey you. (See Mark 11:22-24)
D. More than Enough
- God does not just want to meet your basic needs.
- He will give you an Abundance.
“The Lord will Bless you with good crops and healthy cattle, and prosper everything you do when you arrive in the land the Lord your God is giving you.”
3. You must be willing to Prosper.
4. Be willing means to apply the force of your Will and determine to receive by Faith, what God has promised.
“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.”
E. Start Where You Are
- Begin to Believe God right where you are.
- Start believing God for rent money and grocery money.
- Then start believing God for Increase.
- Build a Financial Foundation and then build upon that.
- Begin to stand in Faith.
- Put the Word into practice – Your Financial Breakthrough will come.
You are citizens of the Kingdom making withdrawals from the divine resources of Heaven. You will indeed experience overflow in your life, supernatural debt cancellation, unexpected income and a whole lot more from God who is Jehovah Jireh.
May God continue to richly Bless you and your family. I pray for you daily and take pleasure in seeing God shower you with supernatural favor and Blessings in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
