Your Assignment in the Kingdom – Part 7
Dr RJ Sing
“Because of this Bretheren, be all the more solicitous, and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall.”
Romans 8:30 “Those He justified, He also glorified.” Paul goes on to the fact that God glorifies us. Being glorified is for us now, it takes place here, in time, in this life. To be Glorified means that we share Christ’s Glory with Him. John 17:22 ESV “The Glory that You have given me I have given to them.” Notice that, it is not something that is going to happen, it has happened. We are justified through the Resurrection of Jesus, we are Glorified through the Ascension of Jesus.
Ephesians 2:4-6 ESV “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, 5 made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved 6 and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
On what kind of Seat is Jesus sitting? The Throne of God. Colossians 3:1-3 NIV “Since, then you have been raised with Christ, set your heart on things above, where Christ is seated at the Right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” Christ is your life.
