He Has Called You (Part 2)

“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].”
The God of all Grace has called you and He wants certain things in our lives. In the last devotional we saw that God wants you to be ‘Perfect’.
Now the second thing God wants for you is that you be ‘Established’.
The dictionary defines established as: “To make secure, or permanent in a certain place, condition, job, on a permanent basis, to prove correct, validate, to be accepted, established a precedent, to cause a character, credible and recognized.” You must be established in the fact that it is His life and not yours.
You must have faith in His Word, and faith in His Life. You are disconnected from the Natural Realm (earth) and connected to the Supernatural Realm (Heaven). Then the Word and Faith insulates your life. This connection to the heavenlies causes you to ‘walk’, ‘think’ and ‘speak’ like God.
This knowledge and revelation establishes you, and you no longer run around looking for something. Why? Because you have found ‘Him’ and you are now established. So God has called you firstly to be perfect and then to be ‘established’. This causes you to be strong and secure.
