Answered Prayer – Part 1
Dr RJ Sing
“And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we [watchfully] obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him.”
The Bible tells us that God is love. Page after page, we see the countless demonstrations of His Great Love. We see God’s willingness to use His awesome power on behalf of the people. There are times, we seem to rely on our five physical senses. Once we pray our prayers, we can look around and try to search for the physical evidence. In effect, it is like trying to see with our ears and hear with our noses.
We need to realize the Word is True and Perfect. John 15:7 AMP “If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.” Romans 12:2 NKJV “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Prayer that brings results must be based on God’s Word. The Bible contains more than 7000 promises (wealth, wisdom, health and success). Find the specific promises, then apply them to your situations and it may take time, but it is worth the effort.
