God’s Principles for True Wealth – Part 3

Dr RJ Sing

“And the Lord shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day and are watchful to do them.”
(Deuteronomy 28:13 – AMP)

So, you have to be trustworthy in handling worldly wealth because, when people buy from you, you exchange your goods for the wealth of the world and the wicked. Proverbs 12:12 (NIV) “The wicked desire the stronghold of evildoers, but the root of the righteous endures.” When something flourishes, everybody is attracted to it and then we sometimes quote Exodus 12, where there was a huge transfer of wealth.

What we forgot is that, the Israelites served for hundreds of years without compensation. God’s principle of justice kicked in and balanced the books. Also, they used the wealth to build His Temples and cities. The basic promise of this teaching is that prosperity must have, as its top priority the advancement of God’s Kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Christians can build this Kingdom by understanding the concept of wealth and touching society through the creation of wealth. Not only can Christians experience financial freedom, but be committed to radical Kingdom service.
