Conquering Faith – Part 1

“Increase our faith (that trust and confidence that spring from our belief in God).”
When the problems and cares of this life seem to overwhelm you, you may think “If only my Faith were stronger, I would be able to win this battle.”
The cry of your heart may be like the disciples who cried out, ‘… Increase our Faith’ Luke 17:5. To have the powerful conquering Faith that will enable you to overcome the flesh, the world and satan, you must not look to man-made methods of producing Faith. You must not rely on positive thinking etc.
Laying all else aside, you must look to Jesus, who is the source of your Faith. Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of your Faith. After having listed all these great men and women of Faith and what they had accomplished through Faith, Paul said, “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith” – Hebrews 12:2 NKJV.
If you want to have conquering Faith that is able to quench all the fiery darts of satan, you must look to Jesus. Of all the great men and women of Faith-Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Moses, etc., whom Paul listed, he then presented Jesus as the supreme example of perfect Faith.
