Conquering Faith – Part 2

Jesus is the Supreme example of perfect Faith. The life Jesus lived in the flesh was the life of Faith. He possessed a strong unquestioning trust and Faith in the Father. He had Faith in the fact that God the Father was dwelling in Him. His faith was in knowing that God was in Him working His works through Him.

By Faith in the Word, Jesus defeated satan in the wilderness. By Faith, He performed miracles, healed the blind, the deaf, and the lame and raised the dead. By Faith, He proclaimed the words of life. By Faith, He committed Himself into the hands of God in the garden of Gethsemane. By Faith, He endured the agony of the cross. By Faith He defeated satan. He rose in triumph over satan and all his evil principalities and powers, and is now seated in a position of supreme power and authority at the right hand of the Father!

The war has been won. Jesus has overcome the world! Because of His victory over satan, He is the “author” the source of your Faith. In Him, you have Faith. It is through Him and by Him that your Faith increases. In Him you have the same conquering Faith that enabled Him to conquer satan, to heal the sick, open blind eyes, unstop deaf ears and to proclaim the gospel. Jesus is the Author and Finisher of your Faith.
