The Power of God’s Word – Part 2
Dr RJ Sing
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.”
Begin to act on the Word of God. Believe God’s Word, trust His Word, know God’s creative power and know His Word. If God says that “I am the Lord, the Lord who heals you”, I dare you to believe His Word and to act on His Word.
Act on God’s Word because Faith without works is dead. James 2:20 NKJV “But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?” This scripture means that we have only as much Faith as we demonstrate with actions. Faith never boasts, and faith always acts.
It is useless to express confidence in the strength of a bridge, then refuse to drive across it. James says of Abraham, in James 2:22 NKJV “Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?” You prove your faith by actions that corresponds and therefore, your actions justify your faith.
