Meditate upon These Things – Part 1
Dr RJ Sing
“Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.”
To meditate means to give the Word of God our full attention. We repeat them over and over, till it becomes part of our consciousness. As we meditate on God’s Word, a metamorphosis takes place. As we meditate on the scriptures, an internal change takes place, and soon everybody will be able to see the change from the outside. We now begin to see the new creation man. We begin to see ourselves as God sees us. Our language and posture in life now changes. What was impossible before, now becomes possible. Praise God!
The change now becomes evident. We now do what God says we can do. We start to walk and act according to the Word. As we look into the Word we begin to see ourselves as He is. John wrote that we should be like Him. “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”1 John 3:2 NKJV.
What a Promise! Glory to God! This is marvellous! We will begin to speak and look like the Master of all Creation. As you meditate, begin to repeat God’s Word over and over, until it becomes a reality. Keep yourself fully focused on the Word of God. Let everything take second place and the Word of God take first place in your life.
