Meditate upon These Things – Part 2

Dr RJ Sing

“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord.”
(Isaiah 59:21 – NIV)

As we think and meditate on God’s Word, we will change not only ourselves but our environment. As the new creation man meditates on God’s Word, a transformation takes place. “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.” Psalm 1:1-3 NIV.

The Hebrew word for meditate means to “mutter”. As we mutter, we declare God’s Word over and over again. This releases the Power of God’s Word in our Lives. The Word of God is now heavily impressed on our minds, that it becomes part of us. Praise the Lord! Remember that wherever you go, God’s Spirit is with you. His Spirit will guide you and the Word of God will direct you. So, you cannot fail or stumble. You are a child of the light and not a product of darkness.
