How to Walk in the Supernatural – Part 2

Dr RJ Sing

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
(2 Corinthians 5:7 – NKJV)

What is Faith? “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1 NKJV. The word “faith” is the Hebrew word emunah, meaning firmness, steadfastness and fidelity. As you can see, each of these meanings describes an aspect of God’s nature. And they have nothing to do with presumption, hope or optimism. The factor that assures us that the Lord will act is that God cannot lie or fail to keep His word. If He said it, you can be rest assured that it will be as He said.

Faith is the mind of the Holy Spirit revealed to man that he might operate and have dominion of the time, space and matter. A more literal translation from the Greek would be: “Now faith is the reality of the foundation where hope takes root or is established. It is the reality of all that exists, and it exercises control and dominion over the things we cannot see.”

Faith is the Divine ability given to man to go beyond the natural realm. As I said earlier, if God had planned for man to live only in the natural dimension, He never would have given him faith. God created the natural realm. He dwells in and out of it, but He is not bound by it.
