You Are Defended
Dr RJ Sing
“O my Strength, I will watch and give heed to You and sing praises; for God is my Defense (my Protector and High Tower).”
The Lord is your defense and High Tower. When one considers the meaning of defense, we find the following: Armament, cover, guard, immunity, protection, safeguard, security, shelter, barricade, bulwark, fortification, shield and so on. This is what God is to you as your Heavenly Father. “He only is my Rock and my Salvation, my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be greatly moved.” Psalm 62:2 AMP
The Lord is your fortification. That is just too wonderful to comprehend. No matter what the situation, the Lord is your defense. He takes pleasure in protecting you and keeping you from all harm and danger. Let us consider the following Scriptures: “The Lord is a strong fortress. The godly run to him and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10. “For the Angel of the Lord guards and rescues all who reverence him.” Psalm 34:7.
“The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. 8 The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.”
