Once You Rest, the Blessing Does the Rest: Living in Overflow

God's purpose is an overflowing life, and you connect with the blessing by obeying his Word, resting in his finished work and mixing the Word with faith.

Opening
He reminds viewers that they declared 2021 a year of 'Shafat', of favour, abundance and overflow, and introduces this as the third session of the New Year's message. After praying for the anointing on the Word, he rereads 3 John 2 and Psalm 37:4 and says he will now explain what an overflowing life means.
God's purpose is an overflowing life
The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came to give a rich and satisfying life, which he calls an overflowing life. God gives the Spirit without measure, and because of his love believers will be full of explosive blessings this year, for he is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.

Raise your expectation: a transference of wealth
Expect supernatural manifestations, miracles and a transfer of the wealth of the nations to the righteous. He teaches that glory refers to material wealth, and that God will shake the nations to fill his house with glory, because the silver and gold are his. Debt is financial leprosy and part of the curse, and God can bless you above your salary.

Key 1: Obey God's Word
To experience the fullness of the blessing you must learn to connect with it. Obedience opens the door to the blessing, and disobedience blocks it.

Key 2: Rest in God's finished work
Resting in the finished work takes away toil and sweat and brings supernatural blessing. God rested on the seventh day and let the blessing work, and until you enter his rest you limit what the blessing can do in your life.

Key 3: Have faith
The Word did not profit Israel because it was not mixed with faith. Be careful how you hear: whenever the Word is preached, be attentive, believe it and open your heart, and you will enter rest.

Trust the covenant and think increase
God is mindful of his covenant and watches over his Word to perform it, so put pressure on the covenant and trust him as your help and shield even when people fail you. God took Abraham out of the place that framed his small thinking, and he wants you to have an increase mentality rather than a survival one. He brought Israel past 'not enough' and 'just enough' to Canaan, the land of more than enough, so that you can become a channel of his favour to others.

You are supposed to live the good life
The spiritual world is the root of the physical, so deal with the issues of your heart and you will see the fullness of the blessing. Despite recent sermons rejecting wealth, a balanced view shows it is God's intent to supply every need, and you must receive and walk in your inheritance or the enemy will try to take it. You were chosen and handpicked for greatness, so consecrate yourself and expect more than enough even in famine.

Putting it into practice
- Raise your expectation level for 2021.
- Obey the Word, rest in God's finished work and mix the Word with faith.
- Listen attentively whenever the Word is preached.
- Trade a survival mentality for an increase mentality, and be a channel of favour to others.
- Make a quality decision to expect abundance, whatever the crisis around you.
Closing
He declares that it is not too late, that God is opening doors and preparing moments of favour, and that viewers will not worry or doubt but will give birth to every promise and see explosive blessings. He restates that 2021 is a year of Shafat, asks them to make a quality decision, promises wisdom from God to know which doors to open and close, and leads a prayer of salvation, urging new believers to find a church that preaches faith and the Word.
