The Day of Miracles Is Not Over: 10 More of God's 58 Blessings

Dr RJ Sing, 15 min

This is the whole service. The video opens where he begins, at 12:58.

Originally preached as “The 58 Blessings of God, Part 6”

Sermon outline

God's blessings are your inheritance as His child: mercy, miracles, ministry, peace, power, promotion, prosperity, protection, provision and rest are all yours.

Main text

  • 2 Chronicles 20:20

Opening

After a testimony shared earlier in the programme, he reads 2 Chronicles 20:20: believe in the Lord your God and you will be established; believe His prophets and you will prosper. He recaps the blessings covered in Parts 1 to 5, from abilities, abundance and angels through to love and marriage, and says he will be brief because of time.

  1. 36. Mercy

Mercy is compassion shown towards an offender, an enemy or someone in your power, and God says He will be gracious to whom He will be gracious and have compassion on whom He will.

“That is God that we serve.”

    • Exodus 33:19
  2. 37. Miracles

A miracle is an extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known natural powers and is a work of God. God parted the sea through Moses, covered Israel with a cloud, gave fire by night, quail and bread from heaven, and He is still the God of miracles: there are miracles He has done in your life and more He will perform.

“When the world is shouting that the day of miracles are over, you shout back at the world and say the day of miracles is not yet over.”

    • Exodus 14:27
    • Psalm 105:39-40
  3. 38. Ministry

A minister is one who serves, from the Hebrew word for an attendant, as Joshua was to Moses. In the kingdom of God, a new government, we forget about who is boss and become servants who esteem others more highly than ourselves, because everyone is important and we are a team.

Illustration: When Pastor Zubeda was sharper than him at something and teased that he had to catch up, he smiled and told her he was not threatened: that is why God gave her to him, because she complements him, just as the church's many talents complement one another.

    “We are all ministers.”

    • Philippians 2:3
  4. 39. Peace

Peace is freedom from disturbance, tranquillity and calm. God keeps in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, and His peace, which passes understanding, guards our hearts and minds.

    • Isaiah 26:3
    • Philippians 4:7
  5. 40. Power

Power means more than being able: it is the ability to exert force. Since you were baptised in the Holy Ghost you have been endued with power and authority from on high, and as a child of God you can bind things and shift things by your words, so that God's name is declared in all the earth.

“You can shift things by your words.”

    • Luke 24:49
    • Exodus 9:16
  6. 41. Promotion

Whether you run a business or work for someone, God will promote you, lifting you higher and making you the head and not the tail. The world says the poor need financial help, but what lifts the poor from the dust and the beggar from the ash heap to sit among princes is the gospel, because poverty is a curse and a spirit plaguing many; God has raised us up and seated us with Christ.

“The gospel preached to the poor shall lift them up.”

    • Deuteronomy 28:13
    • 1 Samuel 2:8
    • Ephesians 2:6
  7. 42. Prosperity

Prosperity is not just a doctrine but a lifestyle, and it is automatic when you come to know God: your little becomes much, because seedtime and harvest will not cease. Some use gimmicks and not everyone who claims to be a minister is real, but you will know them by their fruit. Prosperity is your blood-bought right.

“Prosperity is not just a doctrine. Prosperity is a lifestyle.”

    • Genesis 8:22
    • Matthew 7:16
    • 3 John 1:2
  8. 43. Protection

God has put a bloodline of protection around those who belong to Him, a no-trespass territory the devil can see; when the spirit of death or poverty comes, it sees the blood, God's seal on you. The Lord goes before you and fights for you, and the battle is not yours but God's, so it will not overwhelm you.

“God has a bloodline of protection around you.”

    • Deuteronomy 1:30
    • 2 Chronicles 20:15
  9. 44. Provision

God will always provide for you: blessed in the city and in the country, in the fruit of your body, your ground and your flocks.

“God will always provide for you.”

    • Deuteronomy 28:3-4
  10. 45. Rest

To rest is to be quiet and cast your cares on the Lord, because He cares for you; He makes you lie down in green pastures and leads you beside still waters.

“That is part of your inheritance.”

    • 1 Peter 5:7
    • Psalm 23:2

Putting it into practice

  • Believe God and His prophets, and expect miracles today.
  • Serve others and celebrate their gifts instead of feeling threatened.
  • Use your words: you have power to bind and shift things.
  • Trust God's bloodline of protection when battles come.
  • Cast your cares on the Lord and enter His rest.

Closing

He decrees that the Lord will bless, sustain, refresh and prosper them in all they do and say, that their way is open, and that God will give them the victory and bless them beyond measure. He ends by calling everyone to clap their hands and give the Lord praise.

In his words

  • “The day of miracles is not yet over.”
  • “We are now in a new government. It's called the kingdom of God.”
  • “I'm not threatened by that. I said, that's why God gave you to me.”
  • “Your little becomes much in the hands of God.”
  • “It's a no trespass territory.”
