He Will Exalt You in Due Time
Dr RJ Sing
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:”
That is God’s plan and purpose for you. He wants to exalt you and use you for His glory. However the above scripture first declares, “Humble Yourself”. Let us look at the example of our Lord Jesus Christ at the Jordan River, He submitted Himself to the baptism of John. Then further on in His Ministry, He submitted to the Cross.
As soon as you take this position, the position of ‘humbling yourself under the mighty hand of God’, you are ready to be exalted by Him. When we relegate to the Natural all goes wrong in our lives. When you are challenged in this life, cast your cares upon Him.
The scripture declares “*Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you”, 1 Peter 5:7. Verse 8 tells us to be ‘sober and vigilant.’ What does it mean to be sober? It means to have a clear knowledge that we need the Spirits help to manage. Further that we must rest in faith
Remember God knows everything in your life: “*Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalm 121:4. God covers you. After a while of faithfulness He will exalt you. Wait for His appointed Time, or as the scripture declares, the Due Time
