All Things Are New

As believers, we are a new race. A race or group of people with the life of God within us. Men and women were created by God to be an expression of Himself. In other words He created man in His own image and likeness.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

It is very important to imprint this into our consciousness, that we are created in the image of God. When we speak about an image we speak about an exact likeness. The word ‘image’ means; An imitation or representation of a person, A person very much like another, A copy or likeness, A visual impression of something produced by reflection from a mirror. So, we are a mirror reflection of God. We have been created in His exact likeness. All old things have passed away. You are now a new creation.
