The Power of Words (2)

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“The mouth of a righteous [man is] a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.”
Proverbs 10:11

The words we speak are indeed very important. They will point us and take us along a direction of life or destruction. *Matthew 12: 36 – 37, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”*

Your tongue is very important. It is compared to a rudder of a ship, in other words a small rudder directs a huge ship in the direction the captain chooses. In the same way, your tongue directs your entire life in the way you choose to go. *Ephesians 4:29, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”*

From this day make up your mind to choose life and head in that direction by choosing your words carefully when you speak. *Proverbs 16:24,”Pleasant words [are as] an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” You are indeed a Righteous man/woman. Let your mouth be a well of life. As you speak, let your words edify and build others around you. Let your communication minister grace unto the hearers. Be an encourager and exhorter from this day onwards
