Make Your Pastor’s Job Easier (Part 1)
Dr RJ Sing
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers”
The Bible says that the Pastors job is to teach you how to do the work of the Ministry. Your Pastor is not supposed to be doing all the work of the church by himself. As a matter of fact, that would be impossible.
Things run more smoothly in your church and you can be more effective in reaching others when everyone is doing his part. It should be our goal to free our Pastor up from the day-to –day natural duties as much as we can, so he can spend time praying and studying the Word to feed the congregation.
The Bibles talks about the importance of Ministers being relieved of natural duties to be able to devote the majority of their attention to spiritual things such as studying, praying and preparing teachings to feed the flock each week.
In the book of Acts the Church was growing and everyone was busy. The disciples soon realized that they needed help, because they found themselves waiting on tables and doing natural things.
