You Are Empowered to Prosper
Dr RJ Sing
“Also, every man to whom God has given riches and possessions, and the power to enjoy them and to accept his appointed lot and to rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God [to him].”
God’s Word gives us guidelines on how to acquire and use wealth. Unfortunately, some Christians have hurt themselves in one way or another for lack of proper teaching on this subject. We need to gain a proper perspective on wealth and the only way to do it is to see what God’s Word says about it.
Read – Psalm 35:27; 112:1-3; Proverbs 8:21; 1 Kings 2:3; Matthew 6:33; 1 Chronicles 29:12 and Deuteronomy 8:18 NKJV “But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” These are but a few of the scriptures that show us very clearly what God’s will is for us concerning financial wealth.
God’s financial attitude is very positive as long as we acquire the material wealth in an honest way and use it wisely for His Glory. God’s will for us is to achieve financial freedom so that we may be able to serve Him and the needy around us.
