Build Relationships That Last
Dr RJ Sing
“Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing.”
God created us as Social beings. We are made to encourage and strengthen one another in all we do. It is our prayer that your marriage, children, family, friends, church fellowship, and workplace, relationships, experience the highest integrity and rewards, you could hope for or imagine.
In building relationships that last, there is no better place to start, than your relationship with the Lord and if that is not in order, all other relationships will be out of order. Matthew 6:33 AMP “But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.”
You must fellowship with your Father. How much time do you spend with your Heavenly Father? This is an important question and should not be embarrassing. Jesus came down to our level so that we could have a strong relationship with God our Father (Ephesians 2:6). God Himself has said in His Word that He wants to get into a close relationship with us. We have been invited to fellowship with the most High God, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit and that is the highest honor that could ever be conferred on us.
