Your Assignment in the Kingdom – Part 4

Dr RJ Sing

“Because of this Bretheren, be all the more solicitous, and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall.”
(2 Peter 1:10 – AMP)

Romans 8:29 AMP “For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.” God did not ‘Predestine’ us to be saved. He predestined us to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. To be predestined means that God has planned the course of your life in advance. He works out the course that your life is to take, He knows the details of your life, He knows the problems and crisis you will face and He has an answer for everyone.

God has no emergencies. He is never taken by surprise and nothing ever happens in the universe, that He has not made provision for. These are the three actions God has already taken concerning us in eternity. God never consulted us concerning any of them and these three phases took place in Eternity, before time began.

God foreknew us, He chose us and He predestined us. We are all part of the central thrust of His plan.
