A Life Rooted in God – Part 3
Dr RJ Sing
“All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.”
You must stay attached to God. Colossians 1:15-16 NIV “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in Him all things were created: things in Heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.” Jesus upholds all things by the Word of His Power. God’s power is released in you when you stay alive with His Word.
When God created plants, He called them forth from the soil, thereby establishing the law the plants must live off the soil. When the plant violates that Word, it dies. God keeps that plant alive in the power of His Word. As long as the plant abides by the law He set at creation, it flourishes and grows, but if the plant chooses to disregard that, death is inevitable.
The same is true in our lives. By taking us out of Himself, God decreed that our lives must be maintained by Him and that there is power in God’s Word when we keep it.
