I Have Been Given These Great Promises
Dr RJ Sing
“By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
Grace and peace are yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ your Lord. Through His Divine Power, you have been given all things that pertain unto life and Godliness. All wonderful things has been bestowed upon you through deep and personal knowledge of Him who has called you into His own Glory and goodness. “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20 NKJV.
In Jesus, all of God’s great and precious Promises have been given to you personally. Through these Promises, you have become a partaker of His Divine Nature and have escaped the corruption in the world. “Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1 NKJV. So, as Born-Again Son/Daughter of God:
- You have been given all things that pertain unto life and Godliness.
- You now have a deep and personal knowledge of Him who has called you. How is this so? By the Word of God and His Spirit.
- You have entered into His own Glory and goodness and
- All of His great and precious Promises are applied to you.
