The Law of Abundance

Dear Partner, I am so glad to have the opportunity to write to you. I want to first of all, take this opportunity to thank you and your family for being so diligent and prompt in your giving unto the Lord’s work. You have sown your Tithes and Offerings, Pledges, Building funds, Priestly offerings etc. and now that you have sown seed on the ground, it has no alternative but to break forth and yield a total Blessing in your life. This Blessing comes in many forms, but more than that, it can come into your hands in a way different to what you have anticipated.
Firstly, thank you for being obedient to the Lord and secondly for being committed whole heartedly to the local vision of our church, Rhema Family Church, Durban. This is your spiritual home and as you sow, demand your breakthroughs and the things the devil is trying to keep away from you. You certainly have our agreement in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
This month I would like to share with you on the subject of: The Law of Abundance
Let’s look at the following Scriptures:
Matthew 6:19-21 AMP
“Do not gather and heap up and store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust and worm consume and destroy, and where thieves break through and steal. 20 But gather and heap up and store for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust nor worm consume and destroy, and where thieves do not break through and steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
Genesis 22:2 AMP
“God] said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah; and offer him there as a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I will tell you.”
Psalms 96:8-9 AMP
“Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering and come [before Him] into His courts. 9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; tremble before and reverently fear Him, all the earth.”
The world teaches that Prosperity is all about money. While this is not incorrect, it is incomplete. Money by itself cannot define prosperity. Biblical prosperity is having wholeness in every area of your life. The principles of total life prosperity fall under the Law of Abundance.
John 10:10 AMP
“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows.)”
Now let us consider the following facts:
- We are to live and experience the God Kind of life here on earth.
- Jesus came so that you can have and enjoy abundant life, to the full and until it overflows.
- The Greek translation of ‘Life’ is Zoe`, which means ‘absolute fullness of life, the Life of God.’
- Jesus wants you to live the abundant, full life.
- Your life should overflow to the point that not only are your needs met, but that you should also be able to meet the needs of others. In other words, you should be in a position to meet the needs of those around you.
Luke 10:27 AMP
“And He replied, You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
Spiritual Laws supersede Natural Laws
- The Law of abundance will work for anyone who gets involved with it.
- Spiritual laws will change natural laws. For example, Jesus walked on water. Water also came out of a rock to quench the thirst of the children of Israel.
- Prosperity can be defined as, ‘to excel to the highest place. To go up to do something desirable.’
- Money is only worth something when it is turned into goods and services.
- Money should be used to love people and to worship God.
- Money and material things should be used to bless people. The law of faith activates spiritual laws that will ultimately set you free.
Romans 3:27
“Then what can we boast about doing to earn our salvation? Nothing at all. Why? Because our acquittal is not based on our good deeds; it is based on what Christ has done and our faith in Him.”
The Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus will deliver a person from the Law of sin and death, once he or she makes the decision to switch laws. You are no longer subject to the law of sin and death, because Jesus destroyed satan, who had the power of death.
Hebrews 2:14
“Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil.”
So, learn to operate in the Law of Abundance and decide to live, ‘there’ forever.
I pray the Anointing of Multiplication will rest on you this month in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen.
