The Word of God - A Revelation of His Ways

It is a great blessing to walk in the ways of the Lord. As we hear and do the Word of God, it means we are walking in His ways. As we do this, we do not sin. The Word of God states that whosoever is born of God does not commit sin. Why? Because God’s seed is in the New Creation being.

*“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” 1 John 3:9. John is not teaching sinless perfection. He speaks here of habitual practice of known sinful acts. The true believers actions will conform to the character of his true Father, either God or satan. The person born of God will reflect this in His behaviour

*“We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” 1 John 5:18. The Word touch means to “lay hold of with intent to harm.”* So the wicked one has no part in you. The devil cannot lay hold of you with intent to harm you. You are God’s Property now! You are the Temple of the Holy Ghost. What a glorious life! This is so wonderful. You have confidence when you approach God and have absolutely no sense of inadequacy in God’s Presence. You walk in His ways and you are accepted as His own son/daughter and you are welcomed into the throne room no matter what the circumstances may be around your life. The Lord Jesus Christ keeps you safe and the devil cannot touch you and your family.
